Kunwer Sachdev, founder of Su-Kam and mentor to Su-vastika, has been recognized over the years for his work in solar energy, power backup and entrepreneurship. The list below covers the awards and recognitions that came along the way. Discovery Channel built a documentary — Sun Fuel: Powering India — around Su-Kam's solar work, and the press began calling him the Solar Man of India alongside his older title.

- ELCINA-EFY Award for Excellence in R&D (2009–10) — For R&D work in the inverter and UPS sector.
- Award for Business Excellence — For building Su-Kam into a brand that exported to more than ninety countries.

Kunwer's formal association with Su-Kam ended in 2018. The work continues today — through Su-vastika in storage and lithium-UPS, through Kunwwer.ai in AI products for Indian businesses, and through his mentoring of founders across early-stage AI and deep-tech.
