The man who lit up India.
Now I'm here to light up you.
Su-Kam started in 1998 from a corner of my cable-TV office in Delhi. We built India's inverter category. Then we built its solar industry — first hybrid solar PCU in the country, first touchscreen Wi-Fi solar PCU, our systems running schools in Rwanda and street lights in Gabon. The Chinese did not like us. Discovery Channel made a documentary — Sun Fuel — about the work. In 2018 I lost Su-Kam. I have rebuilt since. Today I mentor founders, invest in AI ventures, and speak inside mid-size Indian companies — without the bosses in the room. That last part is where the real conversation happens.

About Me
Kunwer Sachdev started Su-Kam in 1998 from a small office in Delhi where he was already running a cable-TV business. The first product was a basic inverter that did not buzz the way the local ones did. The company that grew from there — Su-Kam Power Systems — became the brand a Delhi household, a Lagos hospital and a Rwandan school all called when the lights were going out.
Solar came next. Su-Kam shipped India's first hybrid solar PCU and India's first touchscreen Wi-Fi solar PCU at a time when nobody else in the country was selling either. Its systems lit thirty-five schools in Rwanda and roughly two thousand street lights across Gabon. The press began calling him the Solar Man of India. Discovery Channel built a documentary — Sun Fuel: Powering India — around the work.
Seventy-plus patents. Ninety countries. Five thousand people at peak. Su-Kam went into insolvency in 2018 and Kunwer's formal association with the company ended that year. He has rebuilt since. Today he mentors founders, invests in early-stage AI ventures, and builds practical AI products for Indian businesses through Kunwwer.ai.

"You are not working for your company. You are working for yourself."
I run sessions inside mid-size companies — without the founders in the room. Employees speak freely. The Q&A always runs over time. That is when the real conversation begins. I have done these with companies of fifty people and companies of five thousand.

Corporate sessions
I speak at mid-size companies — without the founders present. Employees open up. The Q&A is always the best part.
Mentoring founders & companies
I mentor founders across industries — not just those I've invested in. My first question is never about funding. It's about what you've actually built.
